Prior to founding our Ontario architectural firm in 2013, Fernando Lima spent many years passionately working in the industry. A project leader with another architecture firm for a decade, his experiences here inspired him to create his own company.
Today, Fernando has carefully assembled a highly skilled multidisciplinary team that includes intern architects, architectural technologists, interior designers, and graphic designers. Lima Architects also works in collaboration with a high-quality team of consultants that includes structural, mechanical, electrical, landscape, and civil professionals.
Our method of working is highly participatory and involves clients, engineers and consultants, all contributing from the beginning of the project and throughout the design process. Our approach to design is not strictly conventional and involves the use of 3D models to help test and develop our proposed design concepts. We also believe that the design process may have different directions and that it requires designers to think and draw until the best possible outcome is reached, considering each finished detail in the development of the overall design.
